Description

View of the Pont du Gard, a Roman aqueduct built around 19 BCE on the order of Augustus to bring water from springs near Uzès. The printed text on the reverse indicates the publisher 'Éditions S.E.P.T.' and the serial number 54/54. The postcard features a handwritten letter dated 13-8-1980 sent from Saint-Raphaël (Var) to Niort, with two French stamps (0.10F and 1.00F) and a circular postmark.
