Description

Black and white view of the Tower of Caesar in Provins, a 12th-century keep with four octagonal towers and a large bell called 'Guillemette'. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Cie des Arts Photomécaniques', a handwritten correspondence dated 3.10.54 to Mrs. and Mr. Larnicol in Bruère-Allichamps (Cher), and an 8 franc stamp 'La Vallée de la Seine et les Andres' canceled in Provins.
