Description

Black and white view of a stone bridge crossing a canyon with a waterfall, surrounded by mountains and pines. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 19.9.45, sent from Cauterets (Pyrénées-Orientales) to Paris, mentioning a visit to the Gave Waterfalls and the Basilica of Calvière. Two 10-centime stamps of the French Republic (1941) are affixed, with a postmark from Toulouse.
