Postcard illustrating the first transatlantic mail carriage "For Sea Rescue", with an SHOM orthodromic map showing the routes of Gérard d'Aboville and Joseph Le Guen. The reverse indicates that the boat was designed by Roman Perhirin and Pierre Rolland, built in Brest from plywood/epoxy, and that the map was produced with authorization from SHOM.
