Description

Black and white view of the Gothic facade of the cathedral in Reims, with its two towers and its central ornate portal. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1 August 1947, sent from Reims to Mme Renard Germaine in Paris, mentioning a stay in Reims and the end of the card. A 5 franc stamp depicting Marshal Pétain, postmark from Reims dated 1 August 1947.
