Interior view of the Chamber of the Council of the Grand Chamber (currently 3rd Civil Chamber) of the Palace of Justice in Rennes, showing a fireplace, a door, and a ceiling dating from 1670, works of the master carpenters and sculptors Dumesnil and Gillet. The paintings on the ceiling and the panels around the door, attributed to Jean Jouvenet (1694), imitate the style of the chapel at Versailles. The elegant Gobelins tapestries, modern, adorn the walls. The reverse indicates the publisher: Les Éditions du Gabier, rue de la Dûte, Nantes, with a registered trademark SR.
