Description

View of Saumur Castle, whose cylindrical stone towers testify to its fortified past. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Penrier in Malakoff, with a 12-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Saumur dated June 6, 1914. The publisher is mentioned at the bottom: 'Éditions Artisques Moréau Carrière'.
