Description

Postcard illustrating Reutlingen with its historical monuments, including the Marienkirche (1247–1334) and a monument to Friedrich List. Printed text recalls the town's history: medieval foundation, Reformation in 1520, fire in 1726 and reconstruction, as well as its role as the birthplace of Friedrich List and Ludwig Finckh. Reverse: handwritten letter from Thiry to René and Julie, dated around 1971, sent from Reutlingen, with a stamp and postmark from Reutlingen post office.
