Black and white view of the Chinon Gate, a stone portal with slate roofs, surrounded by old buildings and trees. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1936, addressed to Zermatt, mentioning a stay in Fontainebleau and a hotel in Zermatt, with a postmark from Montricoux (Cher) and a post office cancellation from Richelieu.
