Description

Color view of the River Liffey in Dublin, with the Four Courts and the dome of the Parliament in the background. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Chavanac in Nice, France, as well as printed text describing Dublin as the Irish capital founded by Vikings and its Georgian buildings. The postmark is obliterated 'CONSERVE' and bears the inscription 'Printed and Published by John Hinde Limited, Cabinteely, Co. Dublin, Irish Republic.'
