View of a narrow street in a Provencal village with a wall niche housing a statue of the Virgin, stone arches, and a wall lantern. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated May 15, 1982, sent from Menton, mentioning a visit to Roquebrune-sur-Argens and correspondence with Mrs. J.P. Thimbault in Paris. 1.40 F stamp with Menton cancellation of May 17, 1982.
