Description

View of the Linderhof Palace surrounded by gardens and a large fountain, with visitors. The reverse indicates it was built between 1869 and 1878 by King Ludwig II of Bavaria. It bears a German postage stamp of 60 pfennigs and a cancellation from Altenau-Oberer Lieg dated 27-9-62. Handwritten French text is visible, addressed to 'Ville Dubon' in France.
