Colorized aerial view of Pontaillac Beach, with numerous umbrellas and swimmers, bordered by red-roofed buildings. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 5, 1967, sent from Royan to Choisy-le-Roi, mentioning the weather and stay at the Fanclion Hotel. A 25-centime stamp of the French Republic, canceled in Royan, Charente-Maritime.
