View of the Grand Kaskad in Petersburg, with its fountains and classical sculptures under a blue sky, surrounded by autumn-leafed trees. On the reverse, a green 5 kopecks stamp of the USSR dated 1956, a Petersburg postmark, handwritten address to Malakoff (France) for 'Socorem', and mention of 'PAR AVION'.
