Aerial view of a white stone castle in ruins perched on a rocky promontory at the edge of a blue sea, with visitors on a path along the edge. On the reverse, printed text in Cyrillic: 'Южный берег Крыма. Ласточкино гнездо.' (Southern coast of Crimea. Nest of the Swallows), attributed to A. Riazanov. Soviet stamps from 1975 and 1979, postmark from Simferopol dated 10/1/78. Handwritten address to Mrs. Renard in Paris, with note 'PAR AVION'.
