Aerial view of the village of Saanen in Switzerland, surrounded by green mountains and an alpine landscape. The name 'Saanen' and its coat of arms are printed at the bottom right. On the reverse, a postcard sent on 24 May 1956 from Montreux-Zweisimmen, with a 40 centimes Helvetia stamp and handwritten German text.
