View of Penzale Port in Portscatho with several fishing boats moored, one of which bears the inscription 'PENZALE PORTSCATHO'. In the background, the village buildings are visible. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated August 18, 1970, sent from Saint-Quay-Portrieux to Mademoiselle Trabelle in Picat, with a 40-centime French Republic stamp and a circular cancellation from Saint-Quay-Portrieux.
