Description

Black and white view of the Romanesque facade of the Abbey of the Ladies in Saintes, with its three large arches and central ornate portal. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated September 4, 1951, addressed to Madame Lamicole in Brière-Allichamp (Cher), and a blue 1927 postmark canceled in Charennes (Charente-Maritime).
