Description

Black and white view of the Romanesque church of Sainte-Marie des Dames in Saintes, with its conical-roofed bell tower and arched façade. The reverse features a handwritten letter to Mrs. Bouyjard in Saint-Amand, a postmark from Saintes dated April 1st, 1963, a 20 franc postage stamp, and a publisher's note 'L. Chalainneau 92, Cours Vichygo'.
