Description

Black-and-white nighttime view of Salisbury Cathedral, artificially lit, with a dark sky and bare trees in the foreground. On the reverse, a postcard dated 17 June 1987, sent from Salisbury, with a 18 pence stamp of Queen Elizabeth II and handwritten French text addressed to Madame Aubleur in Blois, France. The publisher is J. Arthur Dixon, and the photo is credited to Michael Blackman.
