A Lapland man, dressed in a traditional blue and red costume with a pointed hat, sharpens a knife on a rock. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame A. Vindebooghel in Montataire (Oise), France, with a Norwegian postage stamp dated 1964 and the inscription 'Foto: Amundsen'.
