Panoramic view of the white houses and white domes of Fira on the edge of the caldera of Santorin, with the Aegean Sea in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter in French addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Boucherie du Fort in Montfaucon, France, with a 50 drachma stamp from 1998 and a postmark from Athens dated July 3, 1998. The publisher indicates 'T-15-172' and 'PRINTED IN GREECE'.
