Description

Postcard showing the Fall of the Niche, located at 800 meters altitude in the Saut du Doubs massif, on the French-Swiss border. The reverse indicates the publisher 'COMBIER TH. MACON (Sécheron) - True Photographer' and an address to Madame Renée Barpoy in Le Mans. A 15-centime French Republic postage stamp is affixed, with a cancellation 'MAICHE ALT. 800' and a circular stamp 'FRANCE-SAUT DU DOUBS - HOTEL DE VACANCES'.
