View of a timber-framed building with flowers in the windows, identified as the 'Schiller's Birthplace' (birthplace of Schiller) in Marbach am Neckar. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated August 31, 1968, sent to Madame R. Surel in Suresnes, with a 20 pfennig stamp from the Deutsche Bundespost and a postmark from Marbach am Neckar.
