A piper in traditional Scottish costume, with a red and black kilt, playing bagpipes near a lake surrounded by hills. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Dumfries (Scotland) to Saint-Maur-des-Fossés (France), with a British 3p stamp and handwritten text mentioning the beauty of the landscape and strong wind at Gordon.
