Description

Colorized postcard showing a canoe race in Sète, with many spectators on the quays and buildings lining the canal. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 15.570 (probably 1957) sent from Sète (Hérault) to Madame Berthe Hégonnais in Cubly, mentioning the jousts and carnival. French Republic postmark with cancellation 'Sète Hérault'.
