Description

Black and white view of Shrewsbury School, an imposing building on a hill, seen through the branches of a large tree in the foreground, with a pond below. The reverse has a handwritten inscription dated August 30, 1946, addressed to Mr. Bourgain at the Girls' School in Draveil, France, and a 2 shilling British stamp canceled in Caernarvonshire on September 2, 1946.
