Black and white view of the stone bridge and the citadel perched on a rocky promontory in Sisteron, with trees in the foreground. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mme du Foil in Vallepansche, an 8 franc postage stamp from the Seine Valley and the Andes dated 1955, and the inscription 'Éditions Maier — French Manufacturing — Genuine Photographic.'
