Description

Colorized view of a stone bridge with three arches and a central tower, crossing the Bévéra, in the village of Sospel (Alpes-Maritimes). The reverse indicates the publisher 'Les Éditions "MAR"', a 50-centime French Republic postage stamp dated 20 August 1974, and a handwritten address to Mr. Daniel Goffroy in Vézelay. The printed text on the reverse states: 'Les Alpes Maritimes 9220 - SOSPEL - Alt. 360 m. The Old Bridge dating from the 11th century and the Bévéra'.
