Description

View of historically renovated Victorian and Greek-style homes in Charleston, with a horse-drawn carriage in the foreground. The reverse indicates that the left house, dating from 1775, was the home of the author of 'Porgy', and that the central house, in renovated Greek style, was built in 1845. A handwritten letter in French is addressed to 'Mai Courban'.
