Description

Illustrated postcard depicting a collage of landscapes from the Yonne (Sens, Auxerre, Joigny, Avallon) intertwined with vineyards and leaves, with a poem at the bottom: 'One day I had a thirst for the YONNE...'. On the reverse, a blue 60-centime stamp, a postmark from Auxerre dated 27 July 1942, and a handwritten address to Madame Brule in Paris XV.
