Colored postcard depicting the steamer S.S. "Dover" in full navigation on a rough sea under a blue sky. The ship, in black and white colors, has a red funnel on its chimney. On the reverse, handwritten French text indicates that the sender, Isabelle, is traveling by bus but that the ship is large and there are big waves. The address is to Monsieur Jacques RYVOL in Paris, with a British stamp and a cancellation of Oban (Argyle) dated 1922.
