Description

Postcard showing the Crown of St. Edward, adorned with precious stones and violet velvet, used for the coronation of King Charles II. Reverse: text in English, French, and German, a 3 pence stamp of Queen Elizabeth II, cancellation from Stragley (England), and address to Madame Leullier in Nogent-sur-Marne. A handwritten French message expresses admiration for the jewels.
