Description

Panoramic view of a white church perched on a rocky promontory in the heart of a verdant valley, surrounded by dense forests and steep mountains. The printed text at the bottom indicates 'St. Georgenberg' with a coat of arms. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 28-8-1957, sent from St. Georgenberg to Meranger in France, accompanied by two Austrian stamps (1 schilling and 3 schillings) and a circular postmark from St. Georgenberg.
