Description

Postcard depicting the Hochaltarschrein of the City Parish Church Straubing, dated around 1500, with a religious scene in Gothic style adorned with gilding. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated April 16, 1965, sent from Straubing to La Doublière (France), mentioning a visit to Germany with the children. The postmark is canceled in Straubing, with the note 'Reinerlös für Renovierung der St. Jakobskirche'.
