Description

Sepia-toned aerial view of the village of St. Maurice nestled in the valley of the Rhône, surrounded by imposing mountains. The printed text at the bottom of the front indicates the subject and serial number. On the reverse, a postcard reproduction with handwritten address to Monsieur Foussel in Meydon, France, and a green obliterated postmark 'ST. MAURICE' dated 21 July 1911.
