Description

Black and white view of the Old Port of Toulon with several white-hulled boats bearing the inscription 'TOULON' moored on a sandy beach, in front of old buildings and a fortification wall. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Saint-Tropez (Var) to Octeville (Pas-de-Calais), with a French Republic stamp and a cancellation dated February 21, 1962. The handwritten text indicates a message addressed to Madame Lombert in Octeville, mentioning the beauty of the area of the Côte d'Azur.
