Description

Panoramic view of Trier an der Mosel, with the Moselle winding through the city and the monument on a hill in the foreground. The back has a handwritten inscription « NUL NE SE PERD DANS LE DROIT CHEMIN », a mention of the « 150th Anniversary » of the Chaumont Oudinot Institution, and an address in Paris. 2.20 franc stamp and postmark from Chaumont dated 16 April 1988.
