Description

Panoramic view of Verbier with its chalets and the snow-capped mountains of the Trient massif in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 16, 1936, sent from Verbier to Madame Rumff in Poncehon (France), mentioning a pleasant stay and the anticipation of her husband's letter. Helvetia 70 centimes stamp and Verbier postmark.
