Picturesque view of a lake surrounded by steep mountains and forests, with a reflection in the water. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated June 24, 84, addressed to Mrs. J. Foerrier in Paris, and a British 20 pence stamp. The publisher is J. Arthur Dixon, with a printed note at the bottom: 'This pretty lochan... one of the highest mountains in Argyll'.
