Description

Postcard illustrating the royal ship WASA during excavations and reconstruction, with three vignettes: the stern with cannons, a drawing of the ship, and work on the bow deck. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated June 26, 1965, sent from Stockholm to Paris, mentioning a visit to the WASA museum and a walk in Djursholm. Swedish 35 öre stamp, postmark Stockholm 26.6.65.
