On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1944 sent from Strasbourg to Bristol, addressed to Mr. & Mrs. R. Liwan, mentioning a stay at the Grand Hôtel and a visit to the brasserie. A 5 French franc stamp canceled in Lille.
