Colorized postcard illustrating various typical scenes of the Swiss Alps: cornet player, mountaineers, cooks at a chalet, shepherd with sheep, Jura pasture, and flag launcher. In the center, the armorial bearings of the Swiss cantons with their coats of arms. Reverse: handwritten message addressed to Meunet Jean Vanthor in Norsy-le-Roi, France, with a Helvetia 80 centimes stamp and postmark from Lausanne dated 27 April 1961. Printed in Switzerland by the publisher Deriaz Baublmes.
