Illustrated postcard in four panels showing surfers in action on Hawaiian waves, with the title « Surfing in Hawaii » in red letters. The reverse has a handwritten French message addressed to Claire Thoreau in Saint-Cloud, France, dated 7 May 1957, with three 5-cent U.S. stamps and a Honolulu cancellation. At the bottom of the reverse, a printed English inscription mentions the advantages of Hawaii for surfers.
