View of a violent storm on the Scheldt in Terneuzen, with crashing waves and silhouettes of observers on the shore. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Ghent (Belgium) on August 8, 1969, addressed to Mrs. Louis Savoie in Saint-Denis (France), with a 3 franc stamp and a mention of the Festival of Flanders. The handwritten text expresses admiration for the Belgian and Dutch landscapes.
