View of the terrace of the castle on Island Mainau in Lake Constance, with a pink church surrounded by palm trees and colorful flowers. The reverse features handwritten correspondence dated September, addressed to Mr. Cochrard in Bayonne, and a German postage stamp of 80 pfennigs with a postmark from Hechingen.
