Description

Colorized view of Bath Abbey, highlighting the 162-foot rectangular tower, flying buttresses, and cloister added in 1923 by architect Sir Thomas Jackson. The large open space was once the garden of the Benedictine priory. The reverse features a handwritten letter in French to 'Monsieur Rémi' and 'Mademoiselle Bénédicte', with a 5 pence stamp and a Toulouse cancellation.
