Description

Panoramic view of Beer Beach in Devon, under the westernmost chalk cliffs of England (426 feet). The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 23 June 1989, sent from Sidmouth, with a blue 'DRG J. ARTHUR DIXON' postage stamp and the inscription 'A POST OFFICE PREFERRED SITE'.
