Description

Night view of the Kintai Bridge in Iwakuni, illuminated by the moon, with a tree in the foreground. The reverse indicates that this is a postcard produced and distributed by ONGO SHOTEN CO., LTD., JAPAN, with a Japanese stamp canceled in Tokyo and a handwritten address to Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, France. The printed text describes the bridge as a wooden bridge with five arches built in 1637, destroyed in 1950 and rebuilt in 1953.
