Description

Seal of an adult man discovered in a necropolis of Barnack, Cambridgeshire, dating from the Bronze Age (around 1800 BC). The coffin is accompanied by funerary objects: a finely decorated pottery spout, a dagger made of copper or bronze, and a pendant made of bone or ivory. The reverse indicates the publisher Henry Stone & Son (Printers) Ltd., Banbury, and the reference BM/C/PR/034.
